Thank you for visiting the piano studio of Anita Yu.

Anita is a New Hampshire piano teacher for nearly 20 years.  She currently teaches at the Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH and at her private studio in Nashua, NH. 

Both locations are equipped with Steinway grand pianos.

She also offers virtual piano lessons in her state-of-the-art studio using a professional-grade microphone and multi-angle high definition cameras.

Whether competition-level or beginner, Anita fosters her students' love of music and motivates them to strive for a standard of excellence. 

She has led them to consistent success in national and state competitions, auditions, and board examinations.

  • Honorable mention, New England Piano Teachers’ Association Intermediate I recital

  • First class honors with distinction, highest score in New Hampshire, Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations

  • Performances at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and the Ip Piano School Concerto Concert

Anita earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Westminster Choir College of Rider University.

She has studied with Louise Goss, Phyllis Lehrer, Ena Barton, and Michael Lewin of the Boston Conservatory. Anita has performed in Boston, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Vancouver, B.C., and has been on the faculties at the Community Music Center of Boston, St. Paul’s School, and the New School for Music Study.
